Melbourne based Narel aka Nick Simmons returns to Green Martian with this stunning three tracker entitled ‘The View At 2 AU’. Nick is a veteran on the EDM scene with releases on some classic labels and remixing for top artists over many years. First up we have the superb ‘The View At 2 AU’ as it intros with subtle percussions alongside a warm rising pad and deep bass plucks. A monster kick soon takes control and the track is on its way. The grooves build steadily as those pads return as does the fantastic bubbling bass. The bass just oozes summer vibes and beautifully tweaked melodic sequences come through as the track evolves. On the break we see the melodies mature to the backdrop of a cool breaks pattern. The perfect fodder for the terraces this summer and definitely not to be missed.

Here the remix intros with a nice punchy top heavy kick with a rising pad coming in from the back. The track gets into full swing with a superb driving bass that would have any floor jumping. ‘Terminal Shock’ intros with a slowly fading in pad and subtle percussions. A cool, punchy kick joins in as bass notes begin to form. Nice and laidback progressive house grooves here that lock you in for the duration. The bass becomes much more prominent as its velvety texture lulls you into its groove.
