Dimitry raises the bar yet again with another awesome deep tech vibe on Eyepatch, the talent this guy has just gets better and better. This newest cut is backed up with a very impressive list of remixers.
Kicking off with the original mix we get a solid deep grooving workout, thumping kicks and sharp hats build the rhythm and gets rounded up with a brilliant vocal. Top notch stuff that will be a great tune on the floors all over.
The head of Piston Recordings, Rogerio Martins, steps up on remix duty with his Next To My Body Remix. Rogerio turns up the heat a bit here and takes us deeper into the groove, deep basses and tight drums get us to an absolute stunner of a break. The vocal comes in and the funk begins with some brilliant chord work, big sound here and will be a top pick for many jocks.
Eyepatch regular Wonji takes control and delivers a sublime take with a straight in your face tech ride Taking on a more surreal feel with long reverbed sounds and retaining a solid groove, great use of the vocal also and this is a tune that will keep you hooked throughout.
Popular remixer Project KF keeps the party rocking with another fine deep tech fuelled effort on the mixing desk. Darker edged vibe with a hypnotic feel, lots of nice samples come and go with a huge rise to the first break that kicks back with the now familiar vocal. Big party sound on this one and definitely one for a lot of floors all over.
Tech stalwart Crocy makes a welcome return to Eyepatch with “Bouquet”. With an impressive back catalogue and a busy remix schedule we are treated to some real cool vibes.
The original mix is a well laidback approach to deep tech house with a subtle intro, the percs build up and the bass shines through for an awesome ride. On the break funky keys make an appearance changing the landscape slightly and then straight back to a solid deep groove, top stuff.
Crocy’s Shake That Booty Remix goes electro with familiar classic drums and percs, a complex arrangement ensues and the track builds up to a beats and bass combo, a cool funky synth takes us to the break with some nice FX playing a part. Solid all rounder suitable for any DJ’s list.
Fresh from the superb “From My Soul EP” Wonji returns with another huge soul funkin groover with a few awesome remixes.
The original mix of “Convince Me” is an amazing trek into the world of house with hints of tech and funk. Well structured sounds from the percs to the kicks and the brilliant guitars to a spoken vocal that takes control of the waves. Top class stuff that is sure to be a hit with its upbeat vibe.
Portugal’s own Accatone is first up with his Back In The Day Remix. Accatones unique style shines through bringing a deeper slide to the original. Tight arrangement on the percs and kicks with wonderful organs and synth stabs. There is a retro element here that comes to the fore with a brilliant trumpet riff, class!
Daniele Kama is up next with a more tribal feel, lots of bongos doing the rounds and the vocal takes control when in effect. A deep bassline commands throughout and on the break some classic samples are evident.
Popular remixer Jimmy Galle provides the final remix here and a stellar job it is. Straight to the floor intro with a huge rising effect kick us into a bouncing bassline, a sinister vocal comes through now and again and this gives a darker edge. On the break a melancholic melody appears and that massive riser comes in, kicking back in to a steady groove with some surreal sounds bringing this tune from the depths to a much more lighter feel, top stuff here.
I3000 aka Mario is a Belgian DJ and producer, he started into music by accident and has went on to host his own parties alongside his girlfriend in the Namur area. With a foothold into the deeper side of tech house we see a superb release on Eyepatch giving a unique sound that is very interesting to the ear.
“Rainy Summer” is a deep deep vibe with a myriad of quirky sounds and FX. A subtle kick leads us into this world where a low end bass rolls along at a steady pace, some nice detuned chords sit well in the depths. The use of many different sounds and effects keep you locked in to see what happens next, a well crafted debut.
Solartoff gives us his Deep Echo Mix, real deep and subtle in essence, an offbeat signature gives this a deep jazzy feeling. We also get a feeling of retro on the almost classic muted synth line with a soft piano coming in to add a new texture. Throughout this journey we become hypnotised by this very unique sound, top quality stuff indeed.

Dimitry Liss teams up with fellow UAE resident Nasrawi for this new two track EP full of mouth watering deep tech house. Dimitry has recently signed with Bonzai Progressive and we are really excited about this talent and the quality of his recordings. Nasrawi is a true party animal, he is passionate about music and he is even more passionate about making sure his listeners get the fullest experience from his vibes.
First up we delve into the sounds of “Backstage Queen”, straight away the deep house groove grabs you and holds you in its grip for the duration. Sublime deep bass and a well crafted arrangement are held together with a quite brilliant vocal sequence throughout the track, tight modulation and filtering add extra layers and textures, amazing.
Getting a bit more funky up in here with “Murmuring Hearts”, so cool, deep n funky tech vibe pours from this track. From the start you get locked into the groove, some nifty percs with sharp hats and claps build up the sound along with a smooth bass and classy vocal shots. One for many boxes here and sure to get a lot of plays.
Funky tech house with soul is what Chanelle Pearl is all about. Born in Quebec, Canada, Chanelle has carved a respectable niche in electronica with her energetic vibes sometimes with an 80’s flavour. Influenced by the likes of Roger Sanchez and The Cube Boys, Chanelle’s ultimate goal is to have her own team of producers and her own record label. Fast becoming a big name on the Canadian dance circuit it won’t be long before she is global. Chanelle debuts on Eyepatch with a superb three track EP filled with her trademark sound.
First is “The Bass”, pure quality funky tech house, bouncy rhythm created by a well crafted drum and perc arrangement. Super funky riffs and a lot of brilliant samples including “turn up the bass” which always adds weight to any track, brilliant stuff and sure to be a big floor filler.
“Mike’s Dinner” kicks us off and straight away the tune is pumping, quite simple structure yet highly effective, super thick kicks and sharp percs provide a steady groove, nice cool bit of a soul flavour in the synths and a short vocal sample helps to deliver a top notch tune.
“Funky Musik” is exactly that, Funky! Deep deep basses accompanied by a more upbeat arrangement on the drums, highly infectious soulful and funky synths will keep the ears pricked up for the duration.

Prolific producer, remixer and founder of AK Tek Records Konstantin Fedoseev aka Project KF serves up a treat with the remix of an ultimate classic of electronic music. Blue Monday still holds the record as being the biggest selling dance 12″ of all time and Konstantin pays tribute to that in style.
The track starts off with a pure thumping kick drum and a sublime pad with pianos making their way into the sound. A deep throbbing bass takes over for the duration and some cool keys take effect.
Classic piano riff on the break provides the real clue to the original. Such an amazing remix for the 21st century and this one will for sure satisfy trainspotters and hardened clubbers alike.
