RECENT POSTS: Creamminal Records
Next up on Creamminal is Belgian producer and DJ, Ugur Yurt. Ugur has been passionate about music an early age having started to play tapes to his friends at age 11. This passion continues to this day with releases on many techno and house labels including Labyrinth Music, Toxicated Beats and more. Ugur also takes to the decks at loads of parties across Europe and has also graced the booth at Tomorrowland! Today we have his newest release “What Is House”, pure techno driven beats at their best.
First up is the title track “What Is House”, very minimal, solid techno groove, tight percussions and a constant throbbing bass, heavily effected vox samples dominate the break and beyond giving this a more sinister feeling, definitely a tune for the late night darker rooms where the full extent of a tune like this can be experienced.
“Peacock” definitely ruffles it’s feathers and stands proud, upbeat techno vibe on this and quicker tempo gives this feeling. Heavy thick bass and a hypnotic percussion leads up to a wide expanding synth line, short stop for the break and then straight back into this awesome groove!
Next up is “Talking Truss”, slightly more house feel on this with a hint of techno, cool retro vibe is also evident in the hook. Real toe tapping stuff with the drums and bass working well together to provide a steady rhythm, real pro sound on this and we can see this one getting the crowds moving!
“Feromon” is the final track on this amazing EP, the tide turns yet again with a tech-house-prog hybrid. This track has everything, chugging basses, tight thick drums, crisp sharp hats and a groove that is for sure gonna make you move, very impressive stuff from Ugur on this track.
Producer and remixer Peker returns to Creamminal with a three track techno ride. Peker has seen his artist album entitled “Everyday Music” enjoy a nice success when released on Creamminal back in 2011, since then he has had other releases on the same label and has appeared on a few compilations on the Bonzai Progressive imprint.
First up is “Time Has Come Back”, techno fuelled vibe with an energetic rhythm, very well arranged sounds with some real quality FX work on the synths. Tight arrangement on the percussion and very sharp hats, on the break a vocal sample fits is well and then back into the groove, very nice track!
“A-Ci” takes a more minimal approach, cool thumping kicks and a deep bass lead up to a well crafted techno vibe, lots of different percy sounds and FX are the focus and these prevail to an almost hypnotic rhythm.
“Revolving Door” gets all techno bouncy up in here, from the off the groove is bouncing with the bassline giving that effect, plenty of layers are added to create a wall of well structured sounds, very retro feel to this which will see a lot of playing time for sure.
Our Creamminal Records boys will also be playing at this year Tomorrowland festival.

Everyday Music is a new artist album from Peker in Creamminal Records.
Peker also know as Ugur Yurt has always been a fascinated by music, even to the extent that he started his “music career” at age 11 by playing tapes for the kids in his local school. His love for music kept on growing ever since.
Ugur Yurt went to Marmaris-Turkey, at the age of 15, where he took his first steps as an assistant DJ. People from all over the whole world came together to become one at the dance floor of the club he was playing at. Peker saw the gathering of different people who liked different kinds of music. And loved it!
5 years later, he took off to Europe. Germany was his next stop. Peker decided to broaden his horizon and spent the next 3 years by taking up a music education.
He missed the mixture of sun, sea and beats. So he went to Bodrum-Turkey where he became the resident DJ of the biggest club in Europe: Halikarnas disco. For a couple of years he played at different events and festivals around Turkey.
Recently Peker moved to Belgium. Settled in his studio, he is still spending time with his pal for life: Music.
