Now on its fifth instalment the Mars Attacks series just keeps getting bigger and better at showcasing the best of upcoming and already established talent. Kick back and enjoy the latest round of progressive vibes from across the globe and we promise you will not be disappointed!
First up we have UK based producer Kevin Miller aka DJK with “Der Traum”. Kevin is an extremely talented guy at the mixing desk and has already seen releases perform very well on the circuit, this is also his second appearance on Mars Attacks and no doubt more will follow. “Der Traum” intros with solid kicks with the percussions building up the rhythm well. The bassline comes in to set the mood for one awesome ride through progressive house grooves with subtle melodies playing a part, top quality stuff.
Next up is Davide Catania with the amazing “Distant Dream”, a progressive trance inspired masterpiece. The track kicks off with a formulaic 4/4 beat that soon transforms when the bass and vocal break through into an almost uplifting kinda vibe. The big hitter on this tune is the wonderful melody, proper straight to the heart feel good sounds, perfect for any big floor!
Hailing from the Italian capitol, Rome, our next artist Charlie Nathan delivers a stunning slice of progressive tech house with the super charged grooves of “Valle Fiorita”. Classic oldskool drums are the perfect intro for what follows with crisp, clear hats and no frills synths and chords working their magic, giving off a very diverse style to the track, we love it and one to fill a lot of boxes.
UK based producer Horizons aka DJ Shy ramps up the energy with a breathtaking journey into progressive trance with his upbeat monster of a tune. From the start this tune will rock your socks off, wonderful pads over a grooving bassline and a solid well crafted beat will have that effect on you. Superb melodies are the big focus throughout this track as they draw you into a world full of bliss. A sure fire hit with the clubbing fraternity all over the world.
