EPISODE 36: Apple Juice – Love Takes 2 EP (Howz Choonz)
Domagoj Kucko known as Apple Juice is born in Zagreb (Croatia) in 1990. He had his first contact with electronic music when he was barely 10 years old starting to collect music ranging from Techno to popular Dance from the top artists of that time.
His productions range from House, Tech House with Deep House influences as well as deep ambient and minimal style Techno.
Using his own words to describe his influences:
“I was inspired by many producers and dj’s – allocating someone is ungrateful to those that are not marked but if I have to mention somebody it for sure would be Nic Fanciulli, Jooris Voorn, Umek. They are one of the best producers in their own way these days if you ask me. In future I will stay on the Techno – Tech House Axis but more experiments can be expected.”
It is said that words are not enough to describe music so you should start listening.
EPISODE 37: Project KF – Just Can’t Stop (Bonzai Basiks)
Konstantin Fedoseev aka Project KF was born in 1982 in the Soviet Union. At age 13 he moves to Israel with his family. In 1998 he made his first steps in writing music.
In 2004 he is starting to study Sound Engineering at Yoav Gera Sound School, school that grew up generations of well known artists. In 2006 after finishing of sound studies, he tries himself in the sound industry as: Boom Man, Post Production, PA and Junior Soundman. After being close enough to important people in the music industry, he reaches himself their respect and support. The inspiration to Techno music came from underground movements in Tel Aviv city at those days.
In 2008, together with his friend Alex, they are establishing AK Tek Records, record label for new and promising artists. In 2009 he is releasing his mixed compilation Techno Union, that includes works from top producers such as Lutzenkirchen, Joseph Disco, Daniele Gas side by side with fresh talents. After some success of the label at charts and parties, they decides to enlarge label’s horizons. AK Tek Records becomes a division of Alienews Label Group, Germany. Today Konstantin is working mostly with big labels.
After such a short way he has already became one of the leading artists in Israel.
EPISODE 31: Victor Maximiliano – Surrounded By Clouds (Eyepatch Recordings)
Victor Maximiliano is a deep-tech house producer and remixer from the Netherlands.
His musical interest began in the early days of the legendary Roxy in Amsterdam.
Soon he bought his first analog gear and did a lot of experimenting with electronic sounds
on Korg MS10 (which he still owns) and the Roland TR 808.
In the 90s he worked as a radio DJ for some popular local FM radio stations.
Victor worked together with DJ Promo as the Vinyl Maniacs and they had a short successful period in the Amsterdam underground scene in the mid 90s.
It was not until 2009 he created his own unique deep sound and made his first digital releases for different record labels and is now signed to Eyepatch Recordings.
This new release, Seriously Deep EP comes with three original tracks, Surrounded By Clouds, So Easy and Filthy Filters.
EPISODE 32: MiniTech Project – Deep Control (Bonzai Progressive)
MiniTech Project is Faroukh Hasham, a DJ/producer fueled with inspiration from all over the world. A believer in constant evolution, he likes using a hypnotic sexy blend of groovy Tech-house, Minimal, and Futuristic Progressive beats and rhythms to communicate thoughts and emotions with people through original compositions, remixes, and technology enhanced DJ sets.
With a constantly evolving style, this sound crosses musical boundaries with influences of minimal, progressive house, progressive trance, techno, and tech house with a groovy drive, strong focus on minimal percussion elements and buildups which drop like a bomb of bliss on the dancefloor. A sound accurately described as “Bouncy, trancy, minimal, groovy. dance music.”
This new release, Deep Control features the original mix plus 2 remixes from Fabio Scalabroni and Di Beatmaker.
EPISODE 29: M62 – Exit 1 (Howz Choonz)
M62 is the new moniker for Fab Code.
At an early age Fab was bewitched by music. It was around 6 years of age that he was attracted by the sounds of soul, funk and later disco, funky, new-wave playing from his parents jukebox. Rocked to the sounds of Tamla Motown, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Barry White, KC & The Sunshine Band and later Kraftwerk, Human League, Depeche Mode and many others, he built up a strong and diverse music background dominated by rhythm and groove.
With a DJ career spanning from the early 80´s up until now, it was at the end of 2009, Fab decided to move and settle in the United Kingdom !
Freshly landed in Manchester, his new home, he went back to work and returned to the recording studio to relaunch his career as a producer / composer. He released his first tracks in 2010 on Belgian label Kiss My Beat Records (KMB) and has now signed with Bonzai Music to release some material on Bonzai Progressive, Bonzai Basiks and Mint & Mustard labels.
The artist has had support from various DJ´s, such as:
Slam, Nic Fanciulli, Moussa Clarke, Wyndell Long, James Grindle, Graham Gold amongst others.
EPISODE 30: Citizen 42 – Sound In A Vacuum EP (Bonzai Progressive)
Citizen 42 is the Techno and House alias of Andy MacDougall aka Andy Tau.
Over the last few years Andy has been releasing trance and progressive under the pseudonym Andy Tau and Trilucid, with regular support from top DJ’s and a string of succesful releases on several high profile labels, as well as tracks featuring on Trance Nation mixed by Andy Moor, Gatecrasher Anthems mixed by Paul van Dyk, Trancemaster 7001 and many more.
As well as his involvement in trance Andy is also an accomplished house and techno producer releasing music as Citizen 42, with several tracks lined up for release throughout 2010 and 2011.
In this release for Bonzai Progressive he offers us two original tracks, Sound In A Vacuum and Fibre.
EPISODE 18: John Manning & Matt Silver – Pikadeli Shindig (Bonzai Basiks)
John Manning & Matt Silver teamed up for this progressive track, Pikadeli Shindig, resulting in awesome club tune. On top of that Kentaro Kaji and Lucio Grandi added two excellent remixes to this release.

The opening release on our brand new label Howz Choonz goes to Israelian producer Hilal Tekschneider! Don’t Say Where We’re Going and Between Me & You are two top notch Tech House tracks excellent suited for peak hour sets.
