Naxound and Gleb Rubens debut on Bonzai Progressive with the superb three tracker Amon Ra. For the last few years both artists have been plying their trade in the best possible way, by delivering only the finest quality sounds. They’ve seen releases on many top labels and have featured heavily in various compilations. It’s great to have these guys on board and we hope to see more soon.
Slugin Vitaly aka Russian house music maestro Redwaxx, debuts on Piston with the superb My Ground. With a solid presence amongst DJ’s, Redwaxx has taken to the airways on various radio stations where he delivers smooth house grooves with a classic vibe. On the production front he has notched up a few releases on Kolour Recordings and Crossworld Vintage with much more to come no doubt. A rising talent for sure and one we’re delighted to welcome into the Piston family.
UK DJ and producer Alex Bradbury marks his Piston debut with the fantastic three track Spektrum EP. Alex plies his trade at various venues in the UK where he takes to the decks alongside fellow DJ’s Josh Taylor and Liam Nuttall. Alex and Josh have hosted some serious parties under their Casa MCR event planning service and in October this year you can catch all three at their latest Manchester based venture where only the finest quality tunes will be on offer. We’re delighted to have this guy on board and we hope to see more from him in the future.
Stan Kolev returns to Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic All Along EP. Stan enjoyed great support on his BP debut – Forsaken EP- back in April 2016, prior to this he had appeared on several compilations from Bonzai. We’re delighted he’s back for another run and hope to see much more in the future.
Jamie Baggotts keeps up his city themed cuts with his newest edition entitled Cape Town. Jerusalem and Mexico City were the previous incarnations and this time around we get a taste of some tight breaks and hypnotic psy. Always a pleasure to have Jamie’s work come through the office and no doubt we’ll be hearing more from him soon.
Our long running Afterhour Trax enters its 20th edition, and once again we bring you some of the finest progressive house grooves from our homegrown labels Bonzai Progressive and Green Martian. 20 top notch cuts from the likes of Manu Riga, Gai Barone, Phi Phi, Nico Parisi, Following Light, Audio Noir, Rise and Fall, Quantus, Alex Vidal, Matan Caspi and many more, are all on hand to help you get down and party hard into the twilight hours. A serious weapon for any jock, this one is a must have.
Ukrainian DJ and producer Lessovsky aka Oleg Lisovsky debuts on Piston with the superb Anytime You Want It EP, which features three top notch deep house cuts for our listening pleasure. Oleg’s sound is an impressive fusion of emotional electronic tone with deep flavour and melodics. He’s been churning out quality vibes since 2012 on many top labels, and this looks set to continue for many years. His extensive catalogue now contains over 50 productions and some have aired on BBC Radio 1 broadcasts and are found in top playlists on international radio stations on a regular basis. Great to have him on board.
Bonzai stalwart Nico Parisi is back with another of his beautifully refined progressive cuts. Attica follows his last cut – Children Of Africa – and features three top notch remixes from Gai Barone, Robert R. Hardy and Rise and Fall. He also recently showed up for remix duties himself on AudioStorm’s Underground Culture, and we’re delighted that he continues to offer only the finest quality sounds. Nico remains a solid figure on the DJing front, he certainly gets around and is a solid figure at many festivals and club venues.
The impressive Dofamine returns to Bonzai Progressive with another serving of top notch progressive beats. For My Love is topped off with three stand out remixes from Blufeld, Audio Noir and Jakhira and is a definite must have track for your progressive house arsenal. Swirling pads and subtle percussions provide the intro on the Original Mix creating a rich atmospheric vibe. Chunky kick drums come through and take over delivering a nice solid warm punch. You feel yourself drawn to the groove as those pads get stuck in your head while a superb deep bassline bubbles up from the depths. A calming melody descends on the sound as that probing bass cuts through the mids and high frequencies. A track with many sides, this one breeds intensity and serenity all in one epic take, brilliant stuff.
Italian born and London based DJ and producer PulpTalks debuts on Piston Recordings with the superb two tracker entitled Sand. PulpTalks is fast becoming a name synonymous with deep house grooves. He spins at top parties throughout London and in 2015 he started to release his own sounds to the world which has gained the attention of many. A rising star no doubt, this guy is one to watch.
Ricardo Mejia debuts on Piston Recordings with the fantastic three track Disco XTC EP. Mexican born, Tijuana based Ricardo brings a fresh sound in his music and has seen releases on various labels over the last few years. On the DJ front, Ricardo regularly appears at top venues around his hometown and his style of play appeals to many. Great to have him on board and hope to see more from him in the future.
AudioStorm aka Ognjen Vukovic returns to Bonzai Progressive with the superb Underground Culture and brings along three top notch remixes from Nico Parisi, Owersound and Experimental Feelings for the ride. We last saw AudiStorm back towards the end of 2015 with his debut album First Step which gained a great deal of support from many quarters. Since then he has appeared on various compilations including the mega Bonzai & Friends 500 Remixes.
Italy based DJ and producer Lorys De Falco debuts on Piston with the fantastic three tracker This Day Is A Gift EP. Lorys developed a passion for music from a very young age and at just 14 he entered the world of DJing after purchasing his first equipment. He got plenty of gigs in bars and clubs around his hometown and soon after he secured his first residency at Fitzroy Disco Club. Offers started to come in for other residencies and he chose Capitol Disco Club in Pescara. To date he has played all over Italy alongside top jocks in top venues. A relative new comer on the production front, the future looks promising as this guy dishes out quality tech house vibes for our listening pleasure, definitely one to watch.
Hungarian DJ and producer Traveltech aka Balint Bendeguz Bakos returns to Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic and epic two tracker entitled Forbidden Planet. Fresh off the back of his BP debut back in May 2016 with Eiffel Tower, this guy certainly knows how to rock out the progressive vibes. No doubt we’ll be seeing and hearing a lot more from this guy in the future so keep your eyes and ears peeled.
