‘Aloha’ sees the second release from the newly revamped moniker Sector 7 which is the brainchild of Belgian legend M.I.K.E.. With a hectic schedule we are delighted that this guy finds the time to produce under this guise as it was a popular attraction in the good old days, and still remains to this day. Aside from the Original we have a top class line up of remix artists on show in what will prove to be a very well received pack.

The Original Mix intros with a punchy kick that leads into subtle percussions before breaking into a cool chord sequence. The bassline comes into the track and really sets things alight as the layers build with intensity. The main riff makes a show midway transforming the track into a full on progressive tech stomper which will grace many a dance floor for sure.

The very popular Relaunch is next up to remix, dark progressive vibes are what this guys is all about at the moment. German based Maik Relaunch is fresh off the back of a superb remix on Thorin’s ‘End Game’ which saw rave reviews and high positions on top download portals. Here the temperatures are rising with a full on progressive monster in the making. Right from the off you get a real sense of deep rooted nature of the progressive vibe within this sound. Snappy kicks and wide hats lead beautifully to a driving bassline while melodic pads rise up through the sound. Melodies are used teasingly on the break before powering back into full on prog mode, quality stuff and one to watch no doubt.

Audio Noir is back after his last track ‘Floorlicker’ which performed very well indeed. Here we see his popular Rekonstruction style remix. It’s worth keeping an eye on this guy as there is much more original and remix work in the pipeline. Nice chunky kicks fill the intro and lead into a very cool synth and bass combi before the percussions begin to show and taking the track to a strong progressive groove. On the first break the track transforms with a huge retro styled riff that will be instantly recognisable and loved by all who remember it. The main break brings with it subtle melodic pads alongside an almost siren like synth that takes us right back to pure unadulterated progressive goodness.

Up next we have Yuriy From Russia and his superb remix. Yuriy has been busy on the remix front and just recently we seen his track ‘Do You Feel’ featuring Ange, perform very well indeed. Here he takes us deep into the darker side of progressive house. The intro boasts a brilliant kick that packs a huge punch, this is coupled with a rhythmic hi hat sequence and leads nicely to a cool flowing bassline. Percussive elements continue to build throughout the track before the bassline is joined by some serious synth work that ramps up the groove perfectly. The track takes a twist when some melodic synths make a show adding diverse textures to the overall sound. Stunning remix that will be sure to grab a lot of attention.
