It’s been almost a year since we last saw Rishi K. over at Green Martian HQ and we are delighted to see he is back with another plunder in his progressive house world. His latest two tracker Black Ice is the long awaited follow up to Inflection Point from November 2013 and we have no doubt this latest offering will be just as stunning.

First up we have the title track Black Ice that sets off with very cool and classic styled punchy kick and hat combo. Smooth housey chord stabs ease their way into the sound alongside a colourful vocal sample. We get right into the track proper after a smooth rising pad transition takes us to the upbeat bassline that dominates the sound so well. The break reveals a smooth piano sequence before a massive kick roll thrusts us back into the main groove for the duration. A hugely impressive slice of prog house that is a definite must have.

Falling awake intros with a cool punchy kick and offset hat combo as various percussions layer up on top. A very cool synth riff comes in early on alongside some vocal FX before we get a taste of the powerful bassline. The bassline will get asses shakin on the floors as it delivers its groovy workout. Subtle piano sequences filter through and marry well with the synth arps which bring a melodic flavour. Top notch stuff from Rishi and a track you will not want to miss.
