Time.Lapse

MosaiC debuts on Elemental with ‘Time.Lapse’, a surreal three tracker filled with groovy chilled out beats and awesome sound designs.

First up is the title track ‘Time.Lapse’ which intros with a thumpy kick in a shuffling kinda groove. Cool flowing rhythms come through on the percussions which also give an almost tribal feel. A smooth slumbering bass plays through the track and sets the mood perfectly for this joyous ride through chilldom. The track breaks to reveal a melancholic piano melody that sways through the sound beautifully. Wonderfully chilled out vibes you have got to experience.

‘Faces Of War’ intros with a cool chunky kick and subtle percussion line with a smooth bass sound that hypnotises as it builds through the track. A subtle, soft piano melody wistfully plays in the background. A much more aggressive bass takes over and takes the track to a new level as it captivates the mind. Top notch stuff that is a perfect late night companion.

‘Replica’ has a tough edged hip hop theme on the intro with classic scratches and a superb kick and percussion arrangement. A deep sub bass paves the way for a much groovier sliding bassline which marries well with the jazz tinged plinks of the cool piano line. Classic vocal samples are delivered in true turntablist fashion adding great character to the track. A truly mesmerizing track that is not to be missed.
