Self taught DJ Neel V first got into the UK’s Jungle/Drum n Bass scene, this soon evolved into trance and progressive and he followed DJ’s like Paul Van Dyk and artists like Robert Miles. The urge to produce soon took over and he launched his own label Miramarbeats, focusing on trance and progressive it wasn’t long before he was searching for new talents. Neel V’s style involves lots of cultural, ethnic and mainly Indian influences. “Lost Stories Of India” is a sublime journey through prog, nice chunky bass and tight kicks, plenty of Indian percussions are evident and an ethnic vibe sticks out, epic stuff!Sergey Polaris – Temple Of The Soul (2012 Rework)Russian based Sergey Polaris gets all techy up in here with his “Temple Of The Soul” track. With releases on DP-6 Records we are treated to some well crafted tech vibes with heavy progressive undertones. “Temple Of The Soul” kicks off in a true tech style with cool 808/909 type kicks and hats, the tune soon builds up with an awesome chest pounding bassline with a lots of FX, bells and pads. Asian type vocal sneaks into the tune and a truly amazing progressive tech tune is complete.Single Man – The TrapDebut release on Green Martian for Ioannis Psaradakis aka Single Man aka Jo Psarados. Based in Chania, Greece, Ioannis is a well established artist on the progressive and techno scenes under his various guises, with tracks on labels like Baroque, Music Maestro and more, today we are looking at Single Man and his release “The Trap”. Setting off in a subtle kick and synth sequence until the killer bass arrives and blows you away, sweet pads linger in the background menacingly with little melodies coming in and out, an epic performance well placed on the Green Martian label.Starfi – Beyond 3Jason Mitchell aka Starfi is a UK based producer of sweeping electronica, drum n bass, progressive and trance music. With many releases covering his vast knowledge of musical forms Starfi is one of those producers where you know you will always have quality in the production. “Beyond 3” is a relentless journey through trance and it’s many soundscapes, acidic tones, thumping kicks and throbbing basses. The tune intros with swelling pads and lots of FX with an acid line, then the kicks start to hammer and the bass throbs, on the break the pads come forth and a solid groove kicks back in creating a big trance sound that would be at home on any floor.
