Flying Fortress EP

Konstantin Alt aka Loquai teams up with Shimmer on this stunning new EP on our parent label and you will clearly see the connection between these artists is very mutual as their sound comes together quite well. Loquai continues to be in huge demand for remixing duties across many labels and he also turns his hand to excellent quality full productions. Shimmer is fast becoming a recognised name on the scene with many quality releases on a raft of top labels, one to watch for the future.
Kicking us off we have the title track “Flying Fortress” which sends us into an awesome world of progressive vibes with very subtle yet highly effective melodies. Real cool steady rhythm with the kicks and percs, the melodies are enhanced with some brilliant rising pads and FX with a chunky bassline tying things up nicely.
Next up we have “Noise Reflection’s”, another track filled with beautiful melodic pads and very cool FX work. We get a feeling of a more laid back approach with the drums and percussions doing a great job on the rhythm. From start to finish the melodies are centre stage and we soon get lost in this awesome sound.
