Feeling

Spanish DJ and producer Fran Navaez debuts on Basiks with the superb two tracker ‘Feeling’. Fran has been a stalwart on the Spanish DJ circuit for some time having graced the decks at many top venues across the country and has seen releases on top labels during this time also.

First up is ‘Feeling’ which oozes a deep tech groove from the off with a classic styled kick and hat combo setting the track off. A deep throbbing offset bass ramps up the groove before descending into a full on driving bassline that dominates the sound. Cool vocal samples drop in throughout alongside some raw sounding synths and FX. Big and bouncy for the floors and not to be missed.

‘My Friend’ delivers an in your face deep tech groove, big chunky kicks and super crisp hats get the rhythm flowing alongside a very famous short spoken word vocal sample. The track lists off as deep resonating basses fill the spectrum and provide the main focus within the sound. Cool synths sit back and contrast perfectly with the vibe. Proper driving tech fuelled slice here and a must for any box.
