Bonzai Basiks stalwart and prolific techno DJ and producer Van Czar is back once again with more beats and bass for our listening pleasure. 100-1 will no doubt prove once more just how talented this guy really is. He never lets up, besides churning out quality vibes for Basiks, he regularly shows up on various other labels including the mighty KMS. He also now heads up his own label – CZ – which is fast becoming a go to label for deep underground grooves. He still runs the monthly Bonzai Basik Beats Spain radio show and headlines many club nights in Madrid and beyond. Fresh off the back of his first album Ibiza Legacy and not long after his mega remix pack of Orlando Voorn classics, it’s always a delight to have this guys stuff land in the inbox and no doubt we’ll be seeing plenty more in the future.

100-1 Old School Techno intros with a solid kick drum that packs a huge punch and is paired with crispy offset hats that build up a nice rhythmic flow. A deep throbbing low end bass shudders the walls as it delivers a superb deep groove. Techno themed synths fade in and hypnotize as they increase the intensity and energy. The track delivers the essence of old school techno in abundance making it a definite floor filler and a must have track for any jock.

Czech DJ and producer Andre Lesu steps up to the mixing desk and delivers a solid remix. Co-owner of Soul Fly Music Records and Unaffected Records, Andre has been around for quite a while delivering his banging beats to the masses. He has graced many top labels over the years and no doubt he will continue for many more years to come. The remix intros with a very cool live sounding kick drum and bright crispy hat combi as a noisy riser takes us up to the bass drop. The bass pulses as the synths fade in and we are soon locked on to the mesmerizing groove. On the break we are faced with a myriad of synths that combine beautifully to build a wall of sound before crashing out and back into this solid stomping techno groover.
