Russian producer Reflection Soul aka Robert Besmaternykh returns to Green Martian with April (Dreams) which comes in two flavours. His last appearance was on his debut with Constellation which saw good support across the board and we have no doubt this stunner will follow suit.

First up we have the Original Mix that intros with a cool Balearic flavour as smooth kicks are joined by an atmospheric vibe and a captivating pad sitting at the back. Lush basses begin to filter through and take the groove up a notch as we get lost in this stunning cut. Tight arrangements provide a solid rhythmic feel as the bass leaves its plucky nature and becomes a warm platform for the groove. On the break we are treated to a beautiful display of melodies in the shape of smooth pianos and strings which bring stark contrasts. Wonderful stuff that will be a welcome addition on the terraces.

The Progressive Mix ups the tempo as it fades in slowly before a punchy kick takes over and is soon joined by a throbbing bass that dominates throughout. The percussions give off a solid rhythmic vibe and keeps the groove on course. The first break reveals a gritty sub bass and gives the first hints of melody as a striking piano arp begins its rise. On the main break the piano comes into full force as the melodies become prominent, an epic sequence is crafted perfectly before we are thrust right back into the main sound. Top notch yet again from this great talent.
