Since Phi Phi & Airwave got together in the studio they have pumped out some top quality cuts and today is no exception. Finesse comes with three superb remixes and promises to be a firm favourite among many for sure.

First up the Original Mix gets right down to business with a fantastic kick that hits the spot perfectly with its snappy punch. A smooth rolling bass lurks in the background waiting to pounce as the rhythms form up with the help of crispy hats and percussions. The bass comes to the fore as the intensity around the vibe builds taking us to a short break before we settle back into this relentless driving progressive groove, a definite must have.

Athens based DJ and producer John Tsamis returns to remix duty after his debut remix back in July this year on Steve Sai’s Stardust. On the remix John pulls out all the stops and takes the track deep into the progressive abyss. A cool rhythmic percussion pattern and beautifully crafted kicks set the track on course as a lush, deep bass holds up the low end. The break throws up a sublime drum and FX sequence with selection of various instruments bringing contrasts to the almost tribal nature of the sound. Superb stuff yet again from John and one for those darker rooms out there.

Hady Tarek joins the remix roster and comes out all guns blazing with a fantastic punchy kick and sharp hat combo that really gets the track moving. As if that wasn’t enough he ramps things up a gear with a wonderfully balanced bouncing bassline that will get any ass movin’. A short break throws up cool synth riffs with a touch of melodies that will keep your ears trained. Nicely paced grooves and superb arrangements will make this a definite go to tune for many jocks.

Australia’s finest Audio Noir is up next with another of his surreal remixes that always gets those progressive juices flowing. Having just released his first studio album, Almost Famous, which has already been given the remix treatment, we eagerly await some new material as it is always an exciting time. For now we will indulge in Another Audio Noir Trip which intros with a very cool vox pad that grips you immediately. A smooth understated kick gets the track moving as subtle hats and percussions begin to form cool rhythms. The deep rooted basses do a great job shoring up the low end and take on a hypnotic trait that locks you in for the ride. A truly spectacular arrangement that will see a lot of playtime for sure.
