The track soon settles into a smooth and deep progressive house groove with nice punchy kicks alongside a rhythmic percussion and a rolling bassline that keeps things moving beautifully. Those big synths make a return on the break and throughout and give the track so much character. Very cool stuff and not to be missed.
Misophone intros with a gritty pad sequence to the backdrop of subtle breaks. Brighter melodic phrases begin to peak through and takes us up a much more pronounced drum arrangement with a superb deep low end sub bass shaking the foundations of the groove. Expertly crafted drum patterns materialise on the break as that super low bass continues to shudder. Super cool atmospheric track that holds a lot dynamic structures which will appeal to many.

The Original Mix intros with a tight clipped kick and sharp hat combi as a very cool bouncing bass dances across the lower end getting this track into full swing early. Cool percussion patterns evolve and get the rhythms flowing beautifully as rising and falling FX bring wonderfully textured layers. The bass holds the track up brilliantly as bright and short arps deliver cool melodies. The break produces a pulsing bass with short vocal samples and takes us back to the main groove in style as the track intensifies to its climax. Top notch stuff and a must have track in any playlist.
Spanish DJ and producer Alex Vidal returns to Bonzai Progressive for remix duty after his much anticipated debut Solar Citadel which gained much support from all quarters. Great stuff from Alex that will no doubt turn a few heads.
Australia’s own Audio Noir shows up for remix duty with another of his outstanding creations. With a new album and lots of other remixes on the way, we are always excited to see what this guy has in store and yet again he does not disappoint. Big and ballsy breaks would be a nice description here with an added dose of dubstep flavours while retaining a progressive edge. The intro is a maelstrom of percussive elements that merge beautifully into flowing rhythms. Short stabs are met with brash edgy synths that tease and tease. The beats intensify and culminate in a frenzy of breaks alongside glitchy ear crunching synths. Contrasting bright arps play out in tandem creating a quite surreal groove that will appeal to many floors all over.

The Original Mix intros with a nicely rounded kick and hat classic combi as a stuttering synth fades through with the filters opening teasingly. The track bursts into life with the introduction of a stunning bassline that provides a solid bedrock for this fantastic deep progressive mover. Epic pads sweep across the sound beautifully and pulse with the beat taking us up to the break. Solid progressives grooves from Nico that will no doubt grab a lot of attention.
Chris Harris debuts on Bonzai with his superb remix. Chris has been around the scene for many years having started out as a bass player in 1992. He turned to DJing and played all over the UK with much success. After a short hiatus he returned to the scene and threw himself into production focusing on his love of Progressive Trance, with his first release coming in February 2014 with Lost In The East on Transportal Digital. With a new track of his own on the way we are delighted to have Chris on board. Here he sets the tone for a sublime progressive journey as the track intros with a solid driving beat comprising chunky kicks and a smooth pulsating bassline. Rhythmic percussions are applied beautifully as rising synths take us through the layers. Synth pads burst into life and send us on a euphoric ride as the darker beats keep the groove flowing. Melodies weave in and out of the sound creating a refreshing seam on this outstanding cut, a must have for sure.
Next up we have Jakhira’s Rework which testifies the skills on offer from this hugely talented artist. A very popular choice at Bonzai as proven with his last effort on Crocy’s Recht, Jakhira certainly knows how to get the progressive juices flowing. A nice a smooth intro with percussions leading the way as a deep house chord stabs through. Chunky kicks punch in and the groovy chords begin to weave their magic releasing a purely deep house vibe. The bassline provides the proggy edge to the sound as it cuts a lush swathe through the groove with a little help from beautiful rich pads. The break lets loose with bright melodic sequences to the backdrop of a droning bass as the track builds back up and continuing on its wonderful journey, top notch.
Up next we have Lonely Sun & Nicolas Agudelo on remix duty. The guys recently remixed Alex Vidal – Solar Citadel with much praise coming from many quarters. They are relative newcomers to the Bonzai stable and have already made quite an impression. Melodic flurries cascade throughout in short arp bursts adding smooth textured layers. The break unleashes a euphoric episode as the melodies are enhanced by rich pads leaving you lost in this wonderful slice of prog, top class stuff.
Crocy’s Recht gets a full makeover with four fantastic remixes and a Vocal mix. The track was previously featured on Cry back in the Autumn of 2013 in instrumental form. This time around we are treated to the wonderful vocals of Cotry which give the track a beautiful narrative.
First up we get right into the action with the Vocal Mix. Tight drum arrangements sit over subtle percussions that build up a nice flowing rhythmic vibe. In contrast the deep bass transforms from soft and rounded into tough and gritty effortlessly adding a strong dynamic. The tantalising vocal really sets the track off as you find yourself locked in to the sultry grooves, great stuff yet again from Crocy.
Audio Noir just can’t keep away at the moment, the guy is churning out quality cuts and remixes at every turn. Here we have his Sound Of Eve Remix which totally beefs up the original in a big way. Here he churns out a top class offering as the intro boasts a cool punchy kick withy rhythmic percussions bringing up the rear. Short chord stabs tease as a very smooth guitar lick in introduced adding an air of Balearia to the groove. The deep bass which powers the track is accompanied by the beautiful vocal from Cotry and takes us to the break where that guitar lick becomes more prominent. Edgy stuff and a definite must for any party this summer.
Jakhira delivers his stunning Undercurrent Remix. Recently we saw Jack on remix duty for Kindred Spirits and Wild Guess as well as his own Princess EP which featured very well on the circuit. Here he strips the groove back to a smooth flowing progressive vibe. Cool, punchy kicks are complimented with a subtle yet very effective percussion line that keeps the rhythm grooving. Deep and lush basses are the order of the day as the track takes us through the paces beautifully. The vocal sits perfectly in the sound as it contrasts the bass wonderfully. The break serves up a very cool melodic sequence as stuttered strings and synths do their work. Excellent stuff that is not to be missed.

Alex Vidal returns to Bonzai Progressive after his debut, Solar Citadel was very well received indeed. No stranger to deep progressive vibes Alex has a keen eye for marrying sounds with ease. Here he sets out on a truly awesome journey as nice, well rounded kicks are contrasted with sweeping melodic pads that seem to float just above the arrangement beautifully. The track settles in as a fantastic deep bass bubbles up from below and dominates for the duration. The break gets groovy with those pads working wonders alongside a gated synth and a superb vocal before coursing effortlessly back to the main groove. Excellent stuff and a definite must have.
