DHARMALOGY – BACK TO 315 (BONZAI PROGRESSIVE)

Dharam Vir aka Dharmalogy debuts on Bonzai Progressive with stunning Back To 315. He got his first taste of electronic music at the age of 12 and immediately he felt a deep connection with hypnotic sounds that could lead one into a beautiful trance-like state of mind. He started his career as a DJ with the sole intention of letting his sounds reach people and soon started getting massive recognition for his unique style of music. The travelling and playing for different audiences in different cities, soon led to his need to express himself truly through his own music and sounds. His productions have an undeniable progressive vibe full of the atmospheric sounds that transport you to some other place, and have been receiving great support from artists like Fernando Ferreyra, D-Phrag, Praveen Achary, Kash Trivedi and Max Graham to name a few. Delighted to have this guy on board and we hope to see more soon.

Now, totally hooked, he has been twiddling the knobs for over 10 years and we are delighted to have him here at Monog. Sugark has followed electronic music since he was just 14 years old. He grew up listening to Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier and Plastikman to name a few. Belgian multi-talented artist Manu Riga aka Adriaan Baussens returns to the decks at Bonzai Basik Beats for another stint, only this time around he is flying solo. Last time out he was joined by fellow producer Matt Holliday and together they rocked the airways, and no doubt Manu will follow suit. Definitely one of Bonzai’s hardest working artists, this guy churns out the quality with every stoke. His latest, in a very long line of releases, is The Fallen EP which is a truly deep and emotional slice of progressive house. There will be new things coming out of Manu’s studio soon and he is currently working on a new album which we are very excited about. The mix today features tracks and remixes from Gai Barone, Moshic, Twins In Mind, Jimmy Galle, Nico Parisi, Philthy Chit and Matt Holliday as well as a whole host of Manu’s own material.

TIM BOURNE – SUBSTANCES (ORIGINAL MIX) FEATURED BY BEATPORT

Substances intros with a flowing atmospheric vibe boasting distant voices and Eastern flavoured strings that lead us into a stunning psy fuelled bassline that packs an energetic punch. Tight drums and superb FX form up to get the groove moving as big stabby synths rain down. The fantastic voices return and offer a lot of texture to the sound as we settle into the driving nature of the track. If there was ever a crossover track from progressive into psy then this is it. Wonderfully layered melodic synths gives off one of those hands-in-the-air moments you just wish would never end before sinking down with a twisting, spiralling effect and crashing back into full on mode for the duration. Just amazing, you have got to have this one.
