Phi Phi and Roddy Reynaert join forces again to bring us the superb three tracker Atlan. They teamed up in 2014 for Platinum on Infonika Recordings to a great reception. Phi Phi is no stranger to these shores, he’s been cutting tracks under Bonzai’s umbrella for many years alongside the likes of Philip Van Mullem, Airwave, Greg D, Yves Deruyter and M.I.K.E.. In recent years he got into the studio with Airwave with jaw dropping results. French DJ and producer Roddy makes his Bonzai debut, although he has been around the scene for a while. He has tracks released on Anjunabeats, Fuzzy Recordings, Intricate Records and Ifonika Recordings. He is definitely making waves with his style and he was snapped up for remix duty on DedRekoning feat Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Only Child on Perfecto Records.
German DJ producer Thorsten Hammer debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the superb two tracker Black Hole EP. Thorsten grew up with the early 90’s German sound and frequented clubs such as Omen and Dorian Gray, this is when he really fell in love with electronic music. After many years of DJing he decided he would try to find his own unique sound. In 2011 he started up his own label, Ametist Records which focused on bringing in new talent and Tech House and Deep House with room left for some Techno. Aside from Ametist his tracks have been released on a hugely impressive amount of labels. Delighted to have him on board.
Italian producer Marcus Raute is back at Piston with the fantastic two tracker, Without You EP. We last saw London based Marcus back in the summer of 2014 with Samplin’ Memories which went down a storm in all the right places. Since then he has notched up a raft of releases across various labels and solidifying his hold on the Deep House arena. He also recently played at the famous Ministry Of Sound in February 2015 and no doubt you will see him other top venues soon.
The Muzika train just keeps on running, already we are seeing the 10th instalment featuring some of the finest Techno cuts around from the likes of Harun Karabulut, Patrik Prelovsky, Dr. Mabuze and Sylar.Harun Karabulut kicks us off with the fantastic Complex Gravity. Harun is no stranger to the Muzika series, he teamed up with Ozan Kanik on Volume 7 with Yavas Yavas back in 2014 and has been churning out quality cuts on various labels since. We’re delighted to see him back with this stomper. The track gets right into the bowels of Techno with chunky beats and a superb deep bass that packs a huge punch throughout. The tight arrangement is tied up with expertly crafted noise FX that sweep over the sound perfectly as classic chord stabs litter the groove. Top notch yet again from Harun, a track you will not want to miss.
Finnish producing duo, Soft Knees, make a welcome return to Bonzai, this time around they show up on Bonzai Elemental with the sublime three tracker Lost Tapes. Soft Knees intros with a super smooth and grooving arrangement filled with cool electric guitars, deep droning basses and a slow drum creating a beautiful atmosphere. Distant voices come through and have a huge impact on the sound as the intensity rises with a nod to prog rock through electrified guitar riffs. A simply stunning slice of music that you need in your collection.

Brett Lawrence is back at Piston with the superb Just Jestin’ EP. His last outing Different Heat EP was very well received and you can rest assured that this new cut will turn a few heads. Brett has been around the music scene for quite a while now and he remains as dedicated as ever. After shuffling around the UK organising parties, DJing and clubbing he settled in London where he established the thriving Assembly Records which continues to be a go to label for uncompromising sounds.

Matt and Manu are back in duo form again with another sublime, tantalising progressive cut.
