Bonzai Progressive firm favourite Crocy is back with another of his spine tingling progressive cuts entitled Mind. He once again enlists the delicious talents of Canadian vocalist Ashley Berndt who was also the voice behind the very well received Cry. Crocy continues to be a much revered artist on the scene given his attention to detail and levels of creativity. His music finds its way into many sets and has featured on lots of compilations across Europe. On the DJing front he continues to impress with ass shakin, feet stompin mixes. Much more to come from this guy, well worth keeping an eye on. Ashley is making her mark on the scene with perfectly executed vocals and strong lyrics, both of which fit snugly into the progressive, deep house genre. A superb talent that captivates with a magical singing voice, we are sure to be hearing a lot more from this lady in the future.
Russian producer Alexander Eryomin aka A.Eryomin debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the delectable and stylish sounds of Lonely Nights. A purveyor of deep house and progressive house grooves, Alexander has graced many top labels including the likes of Emotional Noise, Crosslink Music, Trento Music and Reelaux Digital to name just a few.
Jader Ag aka Italian born, Canada based DJ and producer Jader Agnolin debuts on Piston with the superb Triggs EP. Jader began his musical journey at a young age when he started to play electric guitar in a Punk band before moving onto drums which gave him an insight into changing things up with a variety of sounds. He began to DJ and soon found himself playing at many parties in Italy and in 2010 he started to produce his own sounds. While travelling through Europe and America he experimented with many genres and discovered his love for all things tech house with deep undertones. Like his own music, his DJ mixes are authentic and carry a deep understanding of sounds which unveils his passion for music.
Bonzai Basik Beats regular and all round progressive house stalwart Matan Caspi joins us again for this week’s show. Matan’s profile continues to gain popularity among many in the music scene, his productions are always on point with ssupport coming in from all angles from the outset. His last offering, Check The Windows, is featuring heavily on top download sites as well as making it onto many playlists. Birmingham, UK based DJ and producer Matt Holliday shows up at Bonzai Progressive with his solo effort, Memories Of Yesterday. He recently enjoyed a collaboration with Manu Riga on Submerged Needs and You Are Contagious, both of which gained a ton of support from across the world. Known for his dark, edgy, psy laced progressive and trance grooves, Matt has built up a solid rep on the music scene with top notch cuts on labels like JOOF, Black Hole, Afterworld and Drizzly Records among others. Matt also delves into DJing quite regularly and hosts radioshows on various stations as well as his own Moments. On top of all that he will be gracing the decks on the Bonzai stage at this year’s (2015) Tomorrowland with fellow producer and studio partner Manu Riga. New Dehli, India based DJ and producer Anurag Nandvanshi returns to Bonzai Progressive with the superb Expectant. We got our first glimpse of this talented producer back in the Summer of 2014 when he debuted with the very well received Soul Of India. Since then he has released a few cuts on various labels as well as a fantastic remix on JWM’s impressive Wild Soul. Expectant comes in Original and Electronica flavours.
Boosh debuts on Piston Recordings with the upbeat and fresh sounds of Be A Man EP. Be A Man delivers a superbly fresh deep house sound with an upbeat tempo that will certainly get the floors into full swing. Nice and phat kicks deliver a solid punch as cool, crispy hats get the rhythm moving. Powerful chord stabs bring the house groove to life as funky keys work their magic in the background. The bass works perfectly in tandem with those stabs and really ramps up the groove to ass shakin heights. Cool vocals sweep through the sound providing a classic urban theme making this a definite must have track for your box.
