Head honcho at SRUR and the king of energetic techno Oz Romita joins forces with one of the most sought after DJ’s/producers on the scene, Lyle Quach, to bring in another round of high quality techno pressings. Lyle started his career in Montreal, Canada where he played many big parties which also led him to play across the USA. He is much sought after and has had collaborations with many artists all over the world and released on lots of labels during this time. Today with Oz we see the latest SRUR slice entitled “Piece Of Cake” and backed up with a couple of brilliant remixes.

The original mix is a cool blend of techno that hits maximum groove form the off with a subtle kick and a shake-that-ass percussion combo. A hypnotic bassline is prominent throughout with plenty of FX to fill up the spectrum. Simple and stylish techno with a lot of punch!
Spain based DJ/producer AngelLopez takes to the mixing desk on the first remix. Angel is another highly respected figure in the techno/house scene with an impressive list of tracks and remixes to his name. Here he takes the original theme and adds a more deep house twist while retaining that tech element. Real solid steady grooves are carved out through the kicks and percussions with a superb bassline adding the deep house touch that locks you into its grip for the duration, top notch stuff.

SRUR regular Roderick Fox is up next with his remix and he does what he does best, crafting fantastic beats and adding sublime techno flavours to everything he touches. Another solid groover with a more upbeat approach and a clever rework of the original hook. Roderick adds in quality percussions and some classic little one shot vocal samples, perfect for any floor.
