After a superb remix on Van Czar’s Rumba, Onofrio is back at the SRUR helm with the brilliant Rumble which comes backed up with three quality remixes. Get ready for this unique, energetic style as Onofrio rustles up another slice of intense Techno for your listening pleasure.

The Original Mix gets us on the move with a pounding kick drum that will hit the mid rift hard with a little help from a super low end bass. Crispy, sharp hats cut through the low frequencies like a knife as an intensity builds in the background with a rising synth. Shuffling rhythms form up as the hats begin to stutter and drum patterns emerge. The bass moves into an offset position creating an energetic feel to the sound while on the break the synths get a look in as the groove flourishes. Top notch stuff yet again that you will definitely want to get into your sets.

The popular Ozan Kanik steps up to the remix desk for the first of three remixes. 2015 has kicked off very well for SRUR boss Oz Romita, and with tracks like this and Ozan’s own Back Ally Rally, in the frame it looks set to continue. The intro sets off with a somewhat intense vibe as nice punchy kicks are joined by sharp hats and a sinister sounding synth drone. Cool drum patterns litter the groove and keep the rhythm flowing while top quality FX take us through the composition effortlessly. The intense vibe continues to rise and is enhanced by the introduction of some hypnotic sounds that show up through the break. A super sleek, super solid slice of Techno that will keep the floors pumping no doubt.

Naples native Bulaklak aka Francesco Flores debuts on SRUR with his remix. Having grown up with music through playing instruments and listening, it was inevitable that he would end up making it his career. At 15 he discovered underground house music and he began to DJ. On the production front he has released across many labels and is known for his experimental style. The remix here feeds perfectly into that experimental style he loves, the intro boasts some cool pulsing basses, sinister synths and rising pads that give off a surreal vibe. Nice, big chunky kicks soon take charge with the bass settling in nicely at the low end to allow the vast array of sounds and strange shapes to form. As the layers build you find yourself locked into the sound with no escape. Bulaklak blends the minimal side of Techno with some powerful grooves to create a tight and solid Techno workout that will really get the heads nodding, a must have.

Moll returns to SRUR with a superb remix. We last saw him on remix duty for Oz Romita’s Idiots and before that on Bonzai Basiks with At The Dawn EP. Always great to see this guys work come through the office as we know we’re always in for a real treat. On the remix we get thrust into a sublime world filled with pounding kicks and rising FX and hypnotic rhythms. The intro gets right into it with powerful kicks coupled with sharp claps and super sharp hats. The bass rumbles along nicely on the bottom as the mid frequencies take control of the sound. The synths sit perfectly among the cacophony of percussions and echoed claps that give the track a real edgy feel. A truly intense Techno groove, only for the headstrong.
