It’s almost that time of year again when the boffins head off to Miami to bask in the Florida sunshine while the rest of us wrap up against the cold, icy breeze of Winter. Fear not, as we have gathered together some of the hottest progressive house cuts that are guaranteed to get the temperatures rising with warm, lush, driving and energetic progressive house grooves.
Buenos Aires producer Nicolas Ferrero debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the two tracker Pachanga Night. He started his music career at just 13 years old when he began to study classical music which developed into a love for electronic sounds. Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Tiesto, Sasha and Danny Howells, among others, have been his biggest influences and have shaped how he produces. In 2007 he took the step into the professional world and studied the art of music production and after a few years he released his first track on Stellar Fountain.
Rise And Fall aka Russian based DJ and producer Anton Vishniakov is back at the helm with Immersion which comes with a superb remix from Audio Noir. June 2014 saw his last release Seize The Day gain a lot of support, since then he has delivered various remixes as well as appearances on many of our compilations, the most recent being the Miami WMC 2015 compilation.
French DJ and producer Vincent Esperanza makes his Piston Recordings debut with the wonderful four track Night Fever EP. Growing up in his native Paris, Vincent found House music around 2001 while partying in the French capital. Richie Hawtin, Josh Wink and Steve Bug are just some of the artists who have influenced him over the years. In 2007 he started producing and saw releases on labels like Look Ahead Records and Zikomatik. He likes to infuse warm tones and techno edges into his sound, just what we like to hear.
Sirius Brown debuts on Basiks with the pacey techno stomper Click Time which comes backed with a superb remix from Van Czar. Sirius has released some top gems over the last few years and is also the A&R for Backspin Records. As well as producing he is also a fantastic pro DJ, spinning at top clubs and parties. Nice to have him on board here and hope to see more in the future.
Alfredo Mena returns for another guest appearance at BBB with his sublime progressive house set. This mix will definitely set the standard for your weekend as we weave in and out of smooth house sounds with jagged progressive edge. Expect some superb tracks and remixes from Luigi Daniell, Romano Alfieri, Joel Mull, Pavel Petrov, Pirupa, Eddie Amador, Ninetoes, Ramiro Lopez, Katcha, Steve Lawler and a selection of Alfredo’s own works will ensure you get those dancing feet shuffling.
After a very successful first time collab, Dark Soul Project teams up once again with Mathov and the superb vocalist Fe Malefiz on We Are Not Alone which comes with two brilliant remixes. This trio of very talented artists gained a lot of attention with Ain’t No Melodies Left, which featured heavily in many sets and charts. Clearly they have a great chemistry that we are sure will last for a long time, looking forward to more in the future.
The hugely impressive Daniel Ray debuts on Piston with the brilliant two tracker, Mirrors. Daniel was a regular feature on Eyepatch Recordings where he dished out his brand of deep house goodness. October 2014 saw A Numbers Game perform well and on top of that he featured in several compilations from the Bonzai stable.
Matan is back with the irresistible Serenity which comes backed up with a remix from Audio Noir, enough to get the progressive taste bud flowing. Matan remains a very popular figure at Bonzai, his work always oozes quality and attracts a lot of attention. His last outing Aim To The Moon, did just that having gained top spots across various platforms. Always an exciting time when his stuff comes through the office.
