Debut appearance on Piston for Groove Apartment with the two tracker, Sound Of Soul. Sound Of Soul intros with a super smooth bass note that glides across a tight drum arrangement filled with crystallized hats and a nice chunky kick. Cool vocal one shots litter the groove as a lush deep house chord is introduced. Bright and cheerful melodies stand out in contrast to the deeper elements and provide a playful dance floor friendly vibe. A real nice and upbeat slice of deep house with some very cool 80’s samples running through.
Dutch based artistic group Vechigen return to Elemental with the wonderfully chilled three tracker, The V-Files. It’s safe to say that this collective are the face of Bonzai Elemental with multiple releases over the last few years. Their last outing, back at the end of 2014 with The Guest House, struck a chord with many in the world of downtempo and laidback grooves. Great to see them back once again.
Diego is back at the BBB helm after a bit of a hiatus since his last appearance back in 2014. Since then he has saw great support with Slow Burn-The Vibe on our Bonzai Basiks label. Always delivering on the quality front, we know this is a mix you will get into. Tracks and remixes come from artists such as Phil & Julz, Jean Zodiac, JP Elorriaga, Duky, Chris Lattner, Kris Wadsworth, Warse, Salero, Michele Fantini, Samu.L, Oscar L, Alberto Ruiz and dubspeeka as well as Diego’s own material. Well worth tuning into to get the weekend party on the move.

Italian DJ and producer Hermann Dius aka Emmanuel De Caprio, debuts on Piston with this tasty two tracker, Baht. Hermann has taken a keen interest in music from an early age, at just 10 years old, he got into house music and became influenced by people like Luciano, Loco Dice, DJ Simi, Shlomi Aber, Darius Syrossian, Carlo Lio, Marco Effe, Robert Dietz, Reboot, Alex Picone and Joseph Maesano. This kind of music became part of his life. With hard work and dedication he gained a solid reputation as a DJ and at the age of 20 he got the chance to play alongside DJ’s like Smoking Jo, Pako S, DJ Fiore and Antonio Grassia. Soon after he began to produce his own sounds under the name Manuel Bros, with a little help from his friend Marra Luigi aka Mar-L. Their music got releases on labels such as Push Push Music, 1980 Recordings, Composure Records, Datagroove Records and Arteria Music Label. Now going solo we are delighted to have this guy on board at Piston.
