SeamLess Beat and Franz Lehmann join forces to deliver deep sultry progressive grooves on Green Martian with Toward Peace which comes backed with two top notch remixes. UK born DJ and producer SeamLess Beat aka Nick Newman started his music career as DJ playing Happy Hardcore and Drum n Bass in various clubs. In 2013 he started to produce and now he boasts a raft of releases on top labels including many on the mighty JOOF Recordings as well as LuPS Records, Mystique Music and Carousal Records with appearances on compilations for Bonzai Progressive’s Club Traxx Breaks 2 and Green Martian’s Afterhour Trax 12. He also hosts his own radio show, BlueWav Deep on Pulse House Radio where he showcases the finest deep grooves around. Argentinean DJ and producer Franz Lehmann hit the producing bug back in 2013 with his debut track Deathroom on Cubik Records, since then he has released on labels like Balkan Connection, OLD SQL Recordings, Massive Harmony, Mistique Music and BQ Recordings. With a distinct progressive sound these guys have matched up well and no doubt will turn a few heads with this, their first collab.
The hugely talented Manu Riga joins forces with the wonderfully gifted vocalist Fe Malefiz on their track, Forgotten which comes backed up with a top notch remix from Mark Found. Over the last several months we have seen Manu collaborate with various other artists, from which some stunning results have flourished. This time around is no different as Fe is clearly the right voice for this sound. Manu is a Bonzai Progressive stalwart and an all out work horse, his attention to detail and quality is second to none and the proof is in his works. Fe is no stranger to these shores, she has worked with Dark Soul Project and Mathov on a number of occasions with great support coming in from all angles. But, we’ll let the music do the talking here and remember to keep an eye on Manu as he will have much more coming in the months ahead which we are very excited about.
Tribal Warriors aka M.I.K.E. Push returns to Bonzai Progressive with the two track tech fest, Revival. Last time out, at the start of 2015, we saw Defiance gain a lot of support from all quarters. Since then, as you would imagine, M.I.K.E. Push continues on his relentless musical journey filled with worldwide DJ appearances and a ton of studio work. His Club Elite Sessions is going strong with a huge fan base and top DJ guests making regular appearances. Always worth keeping an eye on this guy, he never disappoints.
Italian DJ and producer Hermann Dius aka Emmanuel De Caprio, debuts on Piston with this tasty two tracker, Baht. Hermann has taken a keen interest in music from an early age, at just 10 years old, he got into house music and became influenced by people like Luciano, Loco Dice, DJ Simi, Shlomi Aber, Darius Syrossian, Carlo Lio, Marco Effe, Robert Dietz, Reboot, Alex Picone and Joseph Maesano. This kind of music became part of his life. With hard work and dedication he gained a solid reputation as a DJ and at the age of 20 he got the chance to play alongside DJ’s like Smoking Jo, Pako S, DJ Fiore and Antonio Grassia. Soon after he began to produce his own sounds under the name Manuel Bros, with a little help from his friend Marra Luigi aka Mar-L. Their music got releases on labels such as Push Push Music, 1980 Recordings, Composure Records, Datagroove Records and Arteria Music Label. Now going solo we are delighted to have this guy on board at Piston.
Belgian DJ and producer Petro Chatzopoulos aka Petri Petro is back at Bonzai Basiks with his latest techno laced cuts on Deflector. Last time out he delivered the goods on his Connectics EP back at the end of December 2014, be prepared to have your tech juices flowing as this guy holds nothing back on the quality front.
Phi Phi is at it again and returns for another Bonzai Basik Beats mix just two short weeks since his last one. We are delighted to have him back and glad that he took time out of his extremely busy schedule to indulge us. Today’s mix takes us on a masterclass in progressive vibes with tracks and remixes from Airwave, Audio Noir, Cysxe, Minitech Project, Majed, A.M.X., Tali Freaks, Rise and Fall, Matan Caspi, Roddy Reynaert, Mathov, Thorin, Manu Riga, Relaunch, Pavlin Petrov, Walter K and original cuts from Phi Phi’s own catalog. Plenty of reasons to tune in and get the party started.
Dark Soul Project and Mathov are on a bit of a roll at the moment. The guys have been churning out top quality tracks of late and this time around is no exception. Between 2 Sides comes backed up with two superb remixes as well as the original which will definitely whet the appetite for an indulging prog experience.
The prolific Audio Noir dishes out another tasty treat with this two tracker entitled Progressive Tales. Just recently he was on hand for remix duty on the revamped Extreme Trax release, Sound & Future where he delved into a more electro theme with fantastic results. Currently he is finishing off some very exciting work which we hope to be seeing very soon. Lots to keep an eye and an ear on with this guy so stay tuned.
