Italian producer Marco Madia debuts on Piston with his ‘Dance Files EP’. Marco has been in and around the underground scene for a number of years. In 2006 he moved to Berlin where he got a degree audio engineering and soon started work as a sound designer. He also produces under the pseudonym Flip Morton and his experience has led to working on film soundtracks and exhibitions.

First up is the deep and dark ‘Tachydromia’ which intros with a big kick and low end bass sound with a metallic sounding synth leading from the front. The synths build and build becoming infectious as they warp throughout the sound and give the darker element of the track a big focus. Superb stuff here and a definite must for those late night events!

‘Empis Livida’ is up next and subtly works its way up to a cool and steady flowing groove. The bass is a deep throbbing monster and is complimented brilliantly with a nicely topped off kick and shuffling percussion section. Wonderfully layered synths give that true deep house feel and adds to this sublime trip. Stunning deep joint here from Marco and will create a lot of attention.
