LESSOVSKY - ANYTIME YOU WANT IT EP (PISTON RECORDINGS)

Ukrainian DJ and producer Lessovsky aka Oleg Lisovsky debuts on Piston with the superb Anytime You Want It EP, which features three top notch deep house cuts for our listening pleasure. Oleg’s sound is an impressive fusion of emotional electronic tone with deep flavour and melodics. He’s been churning out quality vibes since 2012 on many top labels, and this looks set to continue for many years. His extensive catalogue now contains over 50 productions and some have aired on BBC Radio 1 broadcasts and are found in top playlists on international radio stations on a regular basis. Great to have him on board.

Anytime You Want is a superb, deep and lush cut that will most definitely find its way into many playlists. A smooth and sultry groove is on offer here which is made up of some beautifully deep tones and a soft catchy vocal riff. Warm basses are matched with smooth keys creating a soulful sound that sits perfectly in the deep house groove. A variety of expertly layered instruments add rich textures to the sound making this a definite must have for those late night sexy sessions.

Swimming In Your Hair opens with a smooth multi layered chord, a nice and chunky kick drum comes through alongside some cool trumpet sounds. Subtle percussions start to form up and the rhythm gathers pace. Deep groovy basses keep the low end rocking as the chords intensify as those trumpets continue to be ultra cool. Sensual vocals come through on the break and are joined by a super tight trumpet riff. Smooth just doesn’t cut it with this one, ultra smooth maybe but simply fantastic nonetheless.

Room 69 intros with a nice chunky kick and a crispy clean hi hat combi. A deep growling bassline takes over and we’re instantly hooked by its raw appeal. The bassline is joined by a more polished and warmer bass on the break creating a cool contrast and adds to the texture of the sound. An excellent gritty vocal underpins the raw groove while pitching synths come through. A definite late night tune that will rock any joint.
