Back from his recent stint on SRUR with “Quito” is Italian producer Giorgio Quaranta aka Gforty. Giorgio has enjoyed a raft of releases across many labels including Teggno Records, Bush Records and Repressure Recordings to name a few. His tracks are heavily supported by top jocks all over the world such as Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Eddie Halliwell and Tom Hades. Here he delivers top quality techno grooves with the two track EP “Sinful Soul” which is backed up with two superb remixes.

First up we have the title track, the intro boasts a full on four to the floor chunky kick and classic hat combo with a deep resonating baseline following through. Sublime housey chords fade in and become the mainstay on the track as a funky little vocal makes an appearance. A very energetic track that will be a feature on many playlists for sure.

Los Angeles based DJ and producer Andy Slate delves into a deeper side of techno with his remix of “Sinful Soul”. The remix incorporates much of the original vibe with the heavy kicks and stunning baseline. A rhythmic percussion section keeps the groove on point while the synths bring out the house element, top notch stuff here and a track for the deeper sets.

Giorgio’s next track on this EP is “I Want Everything”. A massive thumping kick intros the track and the percussions build us up to a funkier rhythm. A fantastic classic styled vocal gets the track moving early on before a superb retro themed riff takes full control of the sound. One to watch here and one that will appeal to many!

Next up we have a quartet of DJ’s and producers Affani, Gunther Robles, Diego Hernandez and Mannilab with their remix. The guys turn out a much more housey affair with a blast of funky rhythms and a brilliant deep throbbing bass. Wonderful synth melodies etch out a classy groove with the vocal adding cool textures. The techno still resides in the this track making this a dynamic offering and a firm favourite in any set.
