ACCATONE:

Accatone is the alias of José Reis. Born in 7 July 1980, he went through his teens listening to Detroit techno and Chicago house music, deep and dub techno and later on to all kind of world, funk and folk, dub and reggae, soul and all kinds of music really.
At the age of 15 he had dj’s and performers as friends and his contact with the after-hours scene in Lisbon started at the early age of 16, making his personal heroes DJ’s like Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Daftpunk, Laurent Garnier, Juan Atkins, Plastikman, Green Velvet, The Orb, Larry Levan, Luke Slater, Underworld, Derrick Carter, and many more…

He started his musician career in 1998 as a percussionist playing all over Portugal as a freelancer and as a member of many bands like the folk band Dazkarieh in 2002, and the chillout project Tachyons from 2003 to 2005. Then he his way into production of electronic music between chillout and deep house and playing as a DJ at most of the trance and techno open air party’s and clubs all over Portugal having his debut abroad in 2009 in Belgrade Serbia at the Namaste Club.

It is only in 2008 after he graduates from the National Conservatory of Cinema, in the Sound Department, that he begins to embrace the production of house and techno at a full range. He pursuits for different and more accurate deep and groovy house tunes working as a DJ, Producer/Remixer and sound recordist and closely involved with Piston Recordings ran by his long time friend Rogério Martins.

ITTAI BARKAI:

Fast rewind a few years back and you’ll find Ittai gently leaning towards a turntable, headphones on, listening to music. May it be African chorals, early techno or the Beatles, it all lay side by side on the long & endless shelves of musical ideas.

Years have passed and the magic is cautiously blended into know how – Amplifiers and compressors, Drum arrangements and notes, Cutoffs and wavetables all put together side by side to reproduce and recur similar musical ideas.

After producing music for the World Wildlife Foundation and other soundtrack projects, Ittai is lately focused on producing simple yet aesthetic electronic tracks well aimed at both home listeners and club DJ’s.

Example tracks can be found on different labels (Banshee worx, Planet BEN & Tactical Nuke Records for instance) or played by Ittai and other DJ’s at different venues.

DIMITRY LISS:

From an early age Dimitry had an aptitude for music. Being a piano student he attended various local competitions in his native town, making sure he practiced long hours before each one at home. When he realized being a professional piano player wasn’t his calling, he walked away with considerable knowledge and experience in music and its theory. He tried a lot of musical instruments and was about to settle for rhythm guitar when his thirst for electronic dance music started to develop.

Somewhere deep in the heart of Russia, a lot of influence arose from the cold and moody surroundings he was subjected to in the urban city. He dived deeper into the unknown world of synthesis and sampling. This is where it all started, sleepless nights and lone days with books and computer screens. Producing, practicing and perfecting his craft.

Year 2002 brought dramatic changes to his rather rehearsed and already aggravating routine, when he moved to Dubai. Experience in a new city added to his aural perception. He grew as a music producer gaining knowledge and skill in this fresh and exciting multi-cultural environment where music, culture and technology coincide hand in hand. While on the path to musical growth, Dimitry stumbled upon a few others that shared his vision for a good groove. Two of these key influences are Costas Papa and Abood Nasrawi. Together they try to explore and push creative boundaries.

Dimitry Liss supports electronic music to this day, he is heavily involved with Dimitry Liss and Costas Papa duo project and his own work as a producer and a DJ, crafting brand new tech, deep and minimal house tracks for your enjoyment.

NASRAWI:

Producer, Dj, Lecturer…these are all words that would pretty much sum up Nasrawi, to both friends and fans alike.
With a career in audio engineering under his belt, he is at the very forefront of his game and we truly believe, he’s only just getting started!

His sets are crafted out of music that represent great productions…a true Producer’s DJ, his selection of music and his manipulation of it, is what is fast becoming his most noted quality.

The one thing that stands out is his ability to play to an intimate room or a thumping arena with equal respect.Nasrawi has also played various venues from Brisbane to Dubai, having opened for acts like Jimpster, Alexkid, Lele Sachi and Jozif. On the production side of things, Nasrawi seems to have taken the gloves off as he prepares to release a series of tracks on One28 Recordings, Love International, Eyepatch Recordings and Entrainment Dubai, sealing his commitment to both, playing cutting edge house music and producing a deeper, darker yet bouncy sound, that is nothing short of genius!

In the recent past, he has co-founded the hugely successful House Arrest and Under The Radar club brands through which he has helped push an impressive local underground scene with a roster of internationals that are likely to seal his taste in a niche club sound.
The maturity in his approach makes him a poster boy of the underground scene and we can only be excited about having him push his brand of club culture, here in Dubai!

VICTOR MAXIMILIANO:

Victor Maximiliano is a deep-tech house producer and remixer from the Netherlands.
His musical interest began in the early days of the legendary Roxy in Amsterdam.
Soon he bought his first analog gear and did a lot of experimenting with electronic sounds
on Korg MS10 (which he still owns) and the Roland TR 808.
In the 90s he worked as a radio DJ for some popular local FM radio stations.
Victor worked together with DJ Promo as the Vinyl Maniacs and they had a short successful period in the Amsterdam underground scene in the mid 90s.
It was until 2009 he created his own unique deep sound and made his first digital releases for different record labels and is now signed to Eyepatch Recordings for a second EP after the first EP Peppers and Onions.
