Enter 42 debuts on Elemental with the sublime album Distorted Times. Having started to dabble in music around five years ago a lot of experimenting was done with different genres like Metal and Rock before electronic music was found. After getting himself a midi keyboard and some top class audio software, Enter 42 was born and as you will see the results are stunning.
First up we have Membrane Poetry which intros with a wonderfully melodic acoustic guitar with soft synth keys wafting through the background. A real smooth downtempo beat eases its way into the sound as various other melodic elements filter in. Very nice and laid-back piece.
Crowds slowly fades in with a beautifully layered pad filled with cool melodies and leads up to a bassy drum section giving off a surreal urban vibe. The track meanders along before breaking into an atmospheric sequence and ultimately going silent with just a hint of a bass note. Softly struck keys break the silence as the track slowly builds up to the main groove, great stuff.
Whenever gets going with an orchestral feel as deep noted strings blend to reveal a smooth and melancholic melody. Super chilled beats come through alongside a throbbing bass that dominates the sound brilliantly. A perfectly synced ride through the ethereal world of chilldom!
Next up we have Burnout with its sweet melodic intro and distant sounding drums. The drums come up top to unleash a very cool, almost drum and bass rhythm which is accompanied by a superb pulsating bass. Excellent stuff that will let your mind drift high!

A nice little acid line weaves its way through the sound also that gives the track a lot of character. Superb stuff!
