Superb Bonzai Progressive debut for the very talented Dee Brown with Juanto backed up with a couple of brilliant remixes.

Belfast born producer and DJ, Dee got the EDM bug at young age, he started to collect seven inch vinyls from the likes of 2 Unlimited and Eiffel 65. Soon after he got into Hardstyle and due to its infectious nature Dee found himself wanting to become a DJ. At 14 he got his first set of Soundlabs and then eventually a set of the iconic Technics. Lots of clubbing followed and Dee was able to experience many other genres in EDM and then he found House music. It was Dee’s love for House that he then decided to go into production and he equipped himself with Ableton Live and taught himself all the ins and outs of this software. Now Dee is ready to unleash his sound to the world and after a well received remix of Project KF – Hold Me, I’m Burning on Bonzai Basiks we are treated to something special in Juanto.

The original mix has a cool prog tech vibe with the opening focusing on light percussion and a vox sample, big swirling FX lead into a powerful kick and bass combo, building on to include some nice housey stabs. On the break is a very familiar vocal sample for the oldskool listeners with lots of brilliantly crafted sweeps and synth. An overall consistent grooving track destined for a lot boxes.

Portuguese producer and remixer Diego Alvez provides the first remix and he does an awesome job. Focusing more on the House side of the tracks Diego adds in a suave and sophisticated rhythm, pure house vibe with crisp hats, beautiful synth work and a bouncing bass with great FX on the vocal.

Turning up the heat is prog master Kintar with his remix. Big sound created with beefed up basses, killer kicks and super percussion, again the vocal is used to great effect and a very simple yet effective melody ties this whole track up nicely.

Another great release for Bonzai Progressive and a lot of DJ’s will pick this up for sure.
