Our Piston journey continues with another slice of wax filled with deep and groovy sounds your turntables are gonna love. Label head honcho Rogerio Martins gets the cutting treatment with his Otherwise Unknown EP which features a remix from the fantastic Kris Wadsworth. Otherwise Unknown dishes out its solid beats, probing basses and warm tones that will set the floors alight while We Like To Party brings its upbeat vibes filled with bright, crispy percussions and cool vocals. After we get a taste of the remix from the world renowned DJ and producer Kris Wadsworth and his No Bible Remix that will definitely keep floors rocking with tech infused vibes and enthralling deep grooves. To finish up the release we get a trip back in time on the retro themed 1994 that is bursting with dance inducing rhythms and a superb deep house groove you will not want to miss out on. Bonzai Progressive stalwart Matan Caspi returns with the impressive Check The Windows. Fresh from his last outing, Serenity, Matan relishes in unleashing his smooth progressive sounds on our senses. This new cut comes complete with two top class remixes from Manu Riga & Matt Holliday and East Cafe.

Italian DJ and producer Hermann Dius aka Emmanuel De Caprio, debuts on Piston with this tasty two tracker, Baht. Hermann has taken a keen interest in music from an early age, at just 10 years old, he got into house music and became influenced by people like Luciano, Loco Dice, DJ Simi, Shlomi Aber, Darius Syrossian, Carlo Lio, Marco Effe, Robert Dietz, Reboot, Alex Picone and Joseph Maesano. This kind of music became part of his life. With hard work and dedication he gained a solid reputation as a DJ and at the age of 20 he got the chance to play alongside DJ’s like Smoking Jo, Pako S, DJ Fiore and Antonio Grassia. Soon after he began to produce his own sounds under the name Manuel Bros, with a little help from his friend Marra Luigi aka Mar-L. Their music got releases on labels such as Push Push Music, 1980 Recordings, Composure Records, Datagroove Records and Arteria Music Label. Now going solo we are delighted to have this guy on board at Piston.

Kindred Spirits’ next Green Martian release, Demoiselle, follows on from the superb Folies d’Antan in February 2015. Kevin Vega is called up for remix duty on this one which will definitely get the house juices flowing.

Podgorica, Montenegro based producer AudioStorm aka Ognjen Vukovic+debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic Oblivion EP. Since early childhood Ognjen was fascinated by music and listened to many different bands including Pink Floyd, Joy Division, Depeche Mode and The Cure. During the 90’s he turned his attention to electronic dance music and began listening to a lot of progressive sounds from the likes of Deep Dish, Darren Emerson, John Digweed and Sasha to name just a few. Having built up his knowledge he started to produce his own tracks which led to releases on Balkan Connection, Baroque, Mystique Music, Polytechnic as well as a host of others. Delighted to have this guy on board and hope to see more soon.

Phi Phi is back at Bonzai Progressive, and this time around he is going solo with the impressive Alone. Featuring remixes from Audio Noir we know that this one will definitely turn a few heads. Phi Phi’s last outing, with studio partner Roddy Reynaert, Atlan performed very well indeed having gained spots on many playlists and DJ charts. Always an exciting time when this guys stuff lands on the desk.

For the 5th time we will be hosting a Bonzai Stage during the most prestigious festival of the moment: Tomorrowland. We have been involved with Tomorrowland since its early days. Tomorrowland continuous to spread the love of music on a global scale with their colourful magic. This year we wanted to surprise you all with a special line up that will blend new & old music together on 1 dance-floor! We will host a stage on Saturday 25th of July, 2015 and these are your entertainers in alphabetical order: Bonzai All Stars, Bountyhunter, DJ Ghost, DJ Phi Phi, Franky Kloeck, Furax, Gai Barone, Jan Vervloet, Manu Riga & Matt Holliday, Nico Parisi, Relaunch and Yves Deruyter. The hugely talented Manu Riga joins forces with the wonderfully gifted vocalist Fe Malefiz on their track, Forgotten which comes backed up with a top notch remix from Mark Found. Over the last several months we have seen Manu collaborate with various other artists, from which some stunning results have flourished. This time around is no different as Fe is clearly the right voice for this sound. Manu is a Bonzai Progressive stalwart and an all out work horse, his attention to detail and quality is second to none and the proof is in his works. Fe is no stranger to these shores, she has worked with Dark Soul Project and Mathov on a number of occasions with great support coming in from all angles. But, we’ll let the music do the talking here and remember to keep an eye on Manu as he will have much more coming in the months ahead which we are very excited about.

SeamLess Beat and Franz Lehmann join forces to deliver deep sultry progressive grooves on Green Martian with Toward Peace which comes backed with two top notch remixes. UK born DJ and producer SeamLess Beat aka Nick Newman started his music career as DJ playing Happy Hardcore and Drum n Bass in various clubs. In 2013 he started to produce and now he boasts a raft of releases on top labels including many on the mighty JOOF Recordings as well as LuPS Records, Mystique Music and Carousal Records with appearances on compilations for Bonzai Progressive’s Club Traxx Breaks 2 and Green Martian’s Afterhour Trax 12. He also hosts his own radio show, BlueWav Deep on Pulse House Radio where he showcases the finest deep grooves around. Argentinean DJ and producer Franz Lehmann hit the producing bug back in 2013 with his debut track Deathroom on Cubik Records, since then he has released on labels like Balkan Connection, OLD SQL Recordings, Massive Harmony, Mistique Music and BQ Recordings. With a distinct progressive sound these guys have matched up well and no doubt will turn a few heads with this, their first collab.

Dark Soul Project and Mathov are on a bit of a roll at the moment. The guys have been churning out top quality tracks of late and this time around is no exception.
