MY BIOGRAPHY

Portuguese producer Diego Alvez has built up his musical knowledge since he started to play piano when he was just 6 years old. In 2006 Diego’s journey into electronic music began, a time when “White Horse” and “The Rub” were cool, he was so influenced by music that he started to DJ and used music to express feeling in the gigs he played. Diego would add an element of Nu Metal and Rock into his performances creating dynamic atmospheres with the likes of Linkin Park, Nirvana and Foo Fighters giving him the drive.

His personal taste ranges from Classical Music to Electronic Music including Minimal, Tech-House Dark and Dark-Tech but also Ambient Music. His style in production is influenced by Jared Leto (30 Seconds To Mars), Trentemoller, Fernando Fragoso and many more.

After a lot of dedicated hard work Diego started to produce his own music in 2010 using FL studio, and he brings us music which is highlighted by sentimental melodies, intimate pianos and glitchy sounds.

In 2010 he sent several demos to AU Records (Portugal) and got the opportunity to remix a song by a great artist, Unik (Fernando Fragoso). Another remix for Solunamanalia (Japan) resulted in his mix of “Rocbouquet” appearing on Bonzai Progressive with more releases following on this imprint. Today Diego has a well contoured style and philosophy, through Deep House, Tech House and Progressive House.

He has a love for art in many forms and he is also a keen amateur photographer.
