Audio Noir recently released his stunning debut artist album Almost Famous which is packed to the brim of wonderfully crafted tracks. Seeing as the album is so good we decided to line up this fantastic remix package with some of the finest cuts off the album and we called in a few of our top remixers to do their thing. Sit back for a journey deep into the progressive abyss and don’t forget to go and check out the originals from this fantastic album.
First up is Under The Sun with a superb remix from Inkfish. Deep and dark tones are felt from the outset as a pounding kick sits over a distant pad. Cool vocal samples crop up throughout adding smooth textures to the groove. Laidback rhythms come off the subtle percussion section and pave the way for the bass which is the star of the show. That bassline just pulses through the track beautifully and keeps the deeper progressive elements on point. The synth work is minimal as it comes through with a raw edge. Top notch cut from Inkfish that will warm up a lot of sets.
The masterful Airwave provides the next remix on One More Night and right from the off you will realise you’re in for a treat as the wonderfully crafted intro lulls you into its grasp. Subtle synths ebb and flow as a bubbling bass fades up bringing with it a fantastic sense of anticipation. A huge kick unleashes a superb breakbeat pattern which takes us to the first break where a stunning guitar strums out a beautiful melodic sequence with the help of some bright synths before getting back into full on mode. A truly epic and hypnotic experience you will not want to miss.
Up next we have the Manu Riga Morning After Remix of Midnight Til Morning which intros with a nice punchy kick that is soon joined by a smooth deep and warming pad. Subtle melodies flow out of the pads alongside some very cool FX. The track does a great job of drawing you in and gripping your mind body and soul for the duration. The bass will move you as it pounds out a superb progressive groove while contrasting bright pads float above. A short break reveals a beautiful piano sequence and a fantastic vocal that takes the track to a new level. Simply wonderful stuff from Manu which is most definitely not to be missed.
Sa.Du is up next with his remix of Morphine. The intro boasts a tight drum arrangement filled with punchy kicks and a round of rhythmic percussions that will have you on the dancefloor in no time. A deep throbbing bass rears its head to get the groove really flowing and commands right through the track. Cool clangy FX come through adding a tech flavour to the sound while smooth arps and synths retain the progressive edge. Overall the track dishes out a driving groove that will be a most welcome addition in any set.
Lastly on this package we have 21street with a remix of La Polaris. Pounding kicks get the track moving to the backdrop of cool percussion patterns as a female vocal comes in every other bar with a sharp delivery. The track breaks briefly before slamming back with a monster bass that just rolls right through the sound brilliantly and setting the progressive house groove on course. Contrasting melodic sequences are born out of a sweet and bright synth as the darker elements continue to flow. A very cool and dynamic slice that will be a feature among many for sure.

Phi Phi & Airwave’s newest collaboration session has produced another stomper with Vanilla. It’s stunning the work these guys put in, a dedication that always pays off. Their last outing, The Horn was a huge success and we have no doubt this will follow suit. Vanilla comes with no less than four top quality remixes that will appeal to many.
The Original Mix kicks us off as an already established groove finds its way into our brains. Big phat kicks will have those dancing feet moving in no time and the tight percussion patterns provide for steady rhythms throughout. Layers begin to form up with the addition of some cool sub basses that sit on top of a stomping, pulsing bassline. The break reveals a stunning atmospheric sequence filled with ethereal pads and break beats that give off a darker progressive vibe. Hints of melodies filter through as the track climaxes back into the main sound to continue this wonderful journey to its conclusion, epic stuff.
The Stripped Down Original Mix is a much more clubby affair with the focus bearing down on the drum patterns and percussion arrangements. We get some very cool FX that add contrasting textures to the bubbly bassline that sits perfectly underneath the sound. An acid type arp teases and you find yourself wanting it to burst out and take control. The break unleashes dark pads that hold intense vibes, break beats ensue and we soon get locked back into this hypnotic groove. Definitely a contender for many playlists, not to be missed.
Gai Barone is up next with his superb remix. Gai is a firm favourite here at Bonzai and we are always delighted to hear his works. Currently working with other artists as well as his own material we are sure to be seeing a lot more from this guy in the future. Pounding kicks and surreal atmospheres bring the remix to life. A deep droning bass note rises up and is joined by haunting voices as we settle into a deep progressive groove. Beautifully arranged note changes and the addition of some very cool classic styled arps bring in a euphoric feeling to the sound. The break conjures up a mystical scene as those calming voices are joined by swirling melodic pads and strings to the backdrop of that ever pulsing bass. A subtle climax gets us back into full swing on this epic ride, a must have track in your collection.
Argentinean producer Hector Sawiak returns to remix duties after his stint on Chantola’s Don’t You Know back in the summer of 2013. Here he takes the track on a sublime journey into prog with a smooth pulsating offset bass against a steadily flowing rhythmic drum arrangement. Cool FX litter the sound beautifully as the bass begins to become a real driving force. Hypnotic melodies form up out of the synths as the break offers up a medley of bass structures that lead us back into the main groove for the duration of this exquisite journey.
LoQuai turns up on remix duty with another of his stomping cuts. We haven’t seen LoQuai at Bonzai since his last escapade Flying Fortress alongside studio partner Shimmer. He has been busy though with top class releases across various labels, still one to watch for the future. The remix sets off into a world full of flowing progressive grooves that captivate beautifully. Cascading pads score cool melodies into your mind and keep you hooked into the sound. Wonderfully arranged drums will keep the feet dancing along with that deep and lush bass. A track that is not to be missed for sure.
Airwave and DJ Fire join forces once again to deliver another stunning deep progressive monster entitled Without Roots which comes backed up with four superb remixes.

Airwave and DJ Fire join forces once again to deliver another stunning deep progressive monster entitled Without Roots which comes backed up with four superb remixes. The guys have work well together in the past with their hugely successful Fire and Ice project, and more recently with cool cuts such as Kabalash.
First up we have the original mix that starts life with a nice chunky kick and subtle percussions. A deep rooted pad begins to fade through as the percussion arrangements become more prominent. As the track progresses we are drawn into a darkly atmospheric space that consumes your mind beautifully. Distant ethnic sounds further enhance the deep progressive vibes and add a surreal element. Deep basses bubble up from deep within the groove as soft melodic phrases break through and we are left with a stunningly epic track that will prove a hit in many sets for sure. Not to be missed.
Relaunch is first up with his brilliant remix. Big and bold intro as monster kicks take full control from the off to the backdrop of tight percussions and a hypnotic synth loop. Dancey drum patterns soon follow and lead us up to a fantastic Psy styled riff that really sets the track off. The bass sits perfectly under the track and adds its own pulsating rhythms to the sound. The break is an out of this world moment that delivers a beautiful euphoric vibe as melodies are forged out of a wonderful string and pad arrangement. We are then thrust back into this tough edged workout for the duration, absolute top quality yet again from Maik.
Kevin Vega is back on remix duty and as he normally tends to do he has raised the bar again with this remarkable journey through the progressive spectrum. The intro eases in with a beautiful atmospheric soundscape filled with lush tones and subtle melodic flavours. Distant percussions lead up to a fantastic pulsing bass which is soon joined by a smooth kick and the track flows magically. Intensity breeds at every turn and soon you will find yourself locked into a stunning hypnotic groove. A truly epic ride that will appeal to many, a must have.
On fire producer Audio Noir is up next with his remix that stuns with its wonderful complexities. An Audio Noir Odyssey is a master stroke of epic proportions as the intro guides us into a progressive world filled with a myriad of melodies and tight arrangements. Beautifully tweaked sound designs light up the spectrum with warm pads, cascading arps and a haunting chorus. These sound blend perfectly into an epic intro that builds to a stomping rolling kick climax. Big chunky kicks take over alongside a brilliant bassline that just oozes acid flavour. The track holds a steady flowing rhythm and takes us to the break where we are given respite in a serene setting with fluctuating melodies before we are slammed right back with the help of a massive build up. No more words, just listen, you will not be disappointed.
Audio Noir offers up his Zen Mix which encapsulates the ambient side of his Odyssey. All the mesmeric and haunting qualities are gathered together to captivate us into a surreal progressive driven utopia. Anticipation builds as we are teased with the prospect of a full on 4×4 beat that never arrives. Absolutely amazing work yet again from this wonderfully talented guy.

Rise And Fall aka Russian based DJ and producer Anton Vishniakov is back at Bonzai Progressive with another stomping progressive workout. ‘Seize The Day’ comes with two stunning remixes from two masters of their trade.
The Original Mix sets off on a smooth deep progressive groove as a deep resonating bass is joined by a snappy kick and subtle percussion arrangement. Intensity within the sound builds with the addition of some brilliant risers and quality FX. The track breaks down into a surreal display of pads and basses that really captivate your mind and take you on a hypnotic journey. A wonderful trek into the darker side of progressive house and most definitely not to be missed.
Airwave is first up on the remix and we are in for a real treat as always. This guy has been at the top of his game for quite a while and he continues to deliver the goods. The workload he takes on is hugely impressive and the results outstanding. He relentlessly strives for the best out of himself and he always manages to surprise. Currently working on new material and collaborating we remain excited to see what he comes up with next. Here he takes the remix down the breaks path with a beautifully arranged progressive cut. Huge soundscapes are formed out of an array of synths and pads to the backdrop of a solid break beat groove. An intricate web of melodies are there to be discovered which gives the track a truly unique flavour. Lots to look out for hear and will no doubt have you back listening again and again.
Another master of progressive vibes is up next on remix duty. Moshic delivers his remix in style as always. His last Bonzai outing came in the form of ‘Do It To Me Now’ which saw much attention on the circuit for its quality and the diverse range of remixes available. Always great to see this guys works hit the office and we hope to see lots more in the future. The remix intros with cool distant sounding kick and percussion combi, this soon dissipates and becomes a powerful, thumping kick with crisp and sharp hats. The bassline is the dominant force here as it etches out a fantastic groove that will have those dancing feet moving in no time. There is a darker element rolling through this sound and it remains in just the right spot throughout allowing the main track the space to evolve. As the track progresses you suddenly realise you’ve become totally immersed with its hypnotic qualities, even on the break, as the percussive elements take over you are still locked right into the groove. A monster of a tune that is not to be missed!

Laurent remains at the top of his game, his workload as producer and DJ is stacked high but this doesn’t stop him creating exquisite cuts. Lots more lined up for the future that we cannot wait to hear!
The Original is a wondrous trek deep into the heart of progressive house. The intro gets right to the point with a tough edged kick and a very cool arp that captivates throughout. A deep bass holds the track together beautifully as flowing rhythms are built. Stunning pads run through the track in a subtle manner yet pack a huge punch. The synth work is amazing, creating melodies that intertwine perfectly and climaxing at the break. An infectious journey that will keep you coming back for more, great stuff Laurent!
The first remix come from Swedish quartet Inkfish. We first got introduced to these guys through their remix of Nico Parisi’s ‘Caress’ which gained a lot of support, the remix made it into many charts and featured heavily in many sets from top jocks. Here the guys waste no time getting down to business, a nice chunky kick is coupled with a smooth percussion line and the rhythms then begin to flow. The bass creeps in beautifully and is soon joined by a full on arp sequence that gives off a purely energetic vibe as it flows through the track. The break offers up some grungy licks that adds a cool character to the sound before getting right back into the main groove, another top notch effort from these guys and not to be missed.
Solar Fields aka Magnus Birgersson is our next remix artist on this fine track, he is a music composer with a litany of releases including 10 solo albums. We last saw Magnus on Manu Riga’s stunning ‘Everything Comes To An End’ and here is no exception. The intro gets right into the flow with a nice and snappy arp with smooth percussions in the background. The groove gains momentum as distant hats and cymbals come through before a monster kick gets the grooves really flowing. Nice synth pads bring up the rear and offer a cool contrast to the gritty edge. The bassline ramps up the sound big time, a lot of energy comes off it and adds to that gritty feel throughout. A very intense track indeed that will see a lot of action in those tougher sets.
